  • Profile data (date of birth, sex, height, weight, health goals)
  • Meal logs and nutritional data
  • Photos uploaded for meal analysis
  • Messages exchanged with your linked nutritionist
  • Device and usage information (browser type, access times)

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and improve the NutriSender service
  • Generate AI-powered nutritional estimates from your meal descriptions and photos
  • Share your meal logs and macro data with your linked nutritionist (if you choose to link one)
  • Send you notifications and reminders (based on your preferences)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States.

4. Photos

Meal photos are stored privately and are accessible only to you and your linked nutritionist. Photos are not shared with any other users or third parties except as described in section 5.

5. AI Processing

Meal photos and text descriptions are sent to AI providers (including Anthropic and Google) for nutritional analysis. These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your identity or account information with these providers — only the meal content needed for analysis.

6. Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data at any time through the app
  • Export your meal logs and profile data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Unlink from a nutritionist at any time
